3 Ways To Use 1st Inversion Triads On Guitar

If you try to write a song in C major you have only 6 usable triads: C, Dm, Em, F, G, Am. That’s quite restrictive! There are many ways to extend the pool of available sounds that you can use. The simplest and probably most useful (so much that it’s been called “the songwriter’s secret weapon”) is to use first inversion triads.
